This new course in fashion journalism will be launched in 2019. It is connected to fashion, luxury and beauty culture and news, which are analysed to create original posts, live social media, articles and interviews. Students follow trends closely, covering fashion shows and professional trade fairs. Storytelling technique and fashion photo shoots complete this course, which finishes with the creation of a personal blog.

BECOME AN EXPERT IN FASHION AND LIFESTYLE WRITING

This journalism course in partnership with the IICP School of Journalism and Communication aims to train students from various schools (management schools, political studies institutes, CELSA, universities, communications schools, fashion schools, etc.) in the specifics of writing and news-making for media specialising in fashion, beauty, lifestyle and luxury.

SKILLS IN FASHION CULTURE FOR JOURNALISTS

This course in fashion journalism has the benefit of enabling students from courses in literature or marketing to better understand the fashion, beauty and luxury industries – from a financial point of view – and to gain a specific knowledge of the fashion industry.

WRITING SKILLS FOR DESIGNERS

It also enables students from creative courses (fashion or design schools) to acquire and apply technical skills in journalism. To put this into practice, students have access to technical tools including software such as Photoshop and InDesign, a photography studio, video editing table, etc.

IMMERSION IN THE PROFESSIONAL WORLD OF FASHION

In order to explore the professional world of fashion, students are invited to undertake a six-month work placement within a company, haute couture fashion house, press agency or fashion or lifestyle magazine.

A database of more than 1000 job and work placement offers per year enables students to find work placements that fulfil their expectations.

A SANDWICH COURSE

Students have the possibility, should they so wish, to follow this programme as a sandwich course.
