Liv&Box is a service whose concept is to create affordable, modern, designer housing that is pleasant to live in for students seeking a short-term apartment in Paris, which responds to the requirements of sustainable development.
The idea is to give a new lease of life to chambres de bonne — the former maids’ rooms on the last floor of buildings, which are often dark, cramped and not used to their best advantage. This service offers the owners of these bedsits the use of a unit that is installed on the roof of Haussmannian buildings: a unit for two or four students that groups together shared living spaces with the aim of breaking the culture of individualism.
