2D AND 3D ANIMATION – VIDEO GAMES

The 2D animation department prepares students for careers in two-dimensional animation, videography (compositing, clips, publicity), and FX animation and special effects.

The 3D animation department prepares students for careers in three-dimensional animation (characters, scenery, etc.), production work (scripts, direction, storyboards) and the realization of 3D space and objects.

The video games department prepares students for careers in game design (tester, level designer, character and scenery creation) and for project management (artistic direction, script writing, direction, etc.)

Beginning with the first year in varied classes, students will acquire the necessary tools and methods, both technical and intellectual, to develop their 2D-3D animation or video game projects: cultural imagery, animation work, mastery of computer programs, etc.

In second year, students refine their specialties by working on projects they will produce themselves, and by making use of a variety of techniques: 2D – 3D animation, special effects, video games, image synthesis. After graduation, the student will be placed in a certified apprenticeship to validate his knowledge in a professional environment.
