FASHION DESIGN – TEXTILE DESIGN AND PATTERNMAKING

In France, the textile and clothing industry includes around 6,000 businesses specializing in clothing design (women, men, children) and home decoration (textile, accessories and tableware).

The fashion designer creates and conceives new clothing designs; his talent and technical fashion skills will guarantee the success of his company or “fashion house”.

LISAA Fashion Design , with a specialty in Textile Design or Patternmaking, offers in-depth teaching of fashion design, patternmaking and textile design. Our training is supplemented by advanced marketing studies. Lisaa Fashion Design is a multi-disciplinary training program facilitating graduates’ entry into the job market.

The Lisaa Fashion Design diploma with a specialty in Textile Design or Patternmaking is accredited by the State at level 3 in the national education system (Bac + 2). The training takes place over two years and is accessible to students after an interview and presentation of original works after a foundation year at Lisaa or other school providing the necessary requirements for a successful advanced training in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or Patternmaking. Upon graduation, a year of post-diploma studies is possible.
