The Fashion Tech & e-Business course takes place over two years and is aimed at students who have a bachelor’s-level creative qualification in, for example, fashion design and pattern making, fashion and textile design or fashion design/fashion business. The theory classes are taught in English.
BECOME A PROFESSIONAL ADAPTED TO CHANGES IN BUSINESS AND SOCIETY
The course enables students to integrate digital-specific requirements in order to create an environment conducive to the promotion of their product. For this, it provides the opportunity to study the specifics of e-merchandising and the processes of digital communication. Students are equally put in the position of presenting their project in front of investors in order to develop the right responses to these situations.
Learning web skills, how to use data and social media strategies enables students to become specialists of the blogosphere. The development of a web app and an e-shop gives students the opportunity to apply these new theoretical skills.
During the course, students design a creative project, which will be the subject of productions, the writing of a dissertation and a dissertation viva.
DEVELOPING CREATIVITY THROUGH NEW TECHNOLOGY
The autonomous usage of Fashion Lab tools – knitting machine, 3-D printer, laser cutter, digital embroidery machine and digital printer – enables students to be more specialised in their explorations and ideas.
Access to the material resource centre is an added benefit for students who are, as such, able to choose their manufacturers.
A COURSE WITH STRONG LINKS TO CURRENT EVENTS
Students are monitored and coached by teachers who are experts in their field. In order to stay up to date with these booming markets, projects are continually fed with current events, in relation to both design and business. The sports, footwear, accessories and knitwear markets are studied in depth.
