Entry Requirements & Application

Scroll

Applications for non-EU students must be completed before June 30th in order to obtain a student visa.

Individual interview

Students can join LISAA bachelors and masters at the beginning of every year (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year). International students wishing to apply for LISAA must make an appointment for an admissions interview. A date for an interview will be arranged as soon as possible. The interview will take place via Skype. This will allow the student’s motivation to be evaluated, based on his general and artistic knowledge. The candidate must provide the following documents:

  • A presentation of personal work (drawing, illustration, photography, graphic design, personal research);
  • The application form filled in;
  • A resume or C.V.;
  • A statement of purpose;
  • Academic transcripts of records for the last 2 semesters of education;
  • €90 of application fees;
  • A copy of passport/ID card.

As there are a limited number of places, the possibility of gaining a place is dependent on the order of the interviews.

Entrance

Candidates will be informed of their admission status within a week following the interview. A registration form will be sent to them. This must be duly completed, signed and returned to the administration office, including all documents requested, the registration fee (€450), a deposit and the technical fees covering the provision of all the equipment (according to the chosen course).

Students must request a visa at Campus France in their country of residence (3 months prior to their arrival in France).

LISAA is a partner of the Paris Police Headquarters to facilitate extending students visas.

Tuition fees

The tuition fees are fixed annually and are indicated in the registration form. Payment must be made before the beginning of the semester. See the fees.

Student status

Students at LISAA have a student status, which gives them access to reductions in different organisations as well as access to student cafeterias. Before coming to France for your studies, you need to apply for membership in the French social security citizen by signing up via the dedicated website etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr. You will then be entitled to the reimbursement of your medical expenses by the French health insurance system.
