The international dimension at the heart of your course
This two-year course offers you the opportunity to do the first year at LISAA Paris and the second year at NABA Milan to obtain a double degree. You will affirm a creative universe, by confronting yourself with the evolutions of the fashion and luxury market. You will be able to provide creative, strategic, technical, managerial and operational solutions within major international groups and other players in the fashion sector.
WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE?
LISAA, one of the very first Parisian fashion schools, with a strong international dimension, offers training that enables students to affirm their creative universe by confronting the evolutions of the fashion and luxury market.
Encouraging co-creation: collaborations and partnerships
Workshop sessions, throughout the course, are an opportunity to create capsules with partner brands, to encourage collaborations and to meet inspiring designers. This spirit of co-creation is essential to fashion. The course also provides the opportunity to produce finished products in partnership with competent factories and workshops.
Acquire solid skills in marketing and fashion management
Know how to position yourself on the market, understand your competition, manage your communication, set up a distribution strategy, develop your professional network, learn to manage a creative team.
Master the entire process of creating a collection
Through the learning of complex methodologies, show the ability to create articulated solutions for many projects, starting from research and analysis, the design process, its representation and communication.
Understand the production stages of fashion products
Professionally carry out and manage all phases of production, demonstrating knowledge of a wide range of applications, knowledge and skills.
Students are able to develop creative, technical, commercial, marketing and communication skills; they have developed their design expertise through professional partnerships and collaborations with their peers. They are capable of providing creative, strategic, technical, managerial and operational solutions within major international groups and other players in the fashion sector.
FOR WHICH PROFILE?
This programme is aimed at creative managers who already have a background in fashion design and who wish to give their career an international dimension, within environments that are both creative and in direct contact with the commercial expectations of the sector. The first year of training takes place at LISAA Paris and the second year at NABA Milan.
FOR WHAT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION?
Graduates obtain the qualification of Collection Director, certified at Level 7, registered in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles. This qualification is combined with the Italian state diploma issued by NABA (Nuova Academia di Belle Arti) Milan: Master of Arts in Fashion Design
The certifying nature of the training and its relevance to the needs of the labour market are recognised by the State and the European framework of certifications.
FACILITATE PROFESSIONAL INTEGRATION
This course offers an exceptional context that allows you to broaden your knowledge and your professional skills from the first year of the Master's degree. International immersion and co-thinking optimise teamwork skills and the management of creative teams within large international groups, a real accelerator of professional integration.
Throughout the programme, you will interact with key players in the industry, through conferences, collaborations and visits to workshops, factories, showrooms and trade shows.
The course is taught in French during the first year and in English during the second year.
The second year of training takes place in Milan, at NABA.
A minimum level of English of 5.0 IELTS is required to ensure that students are well integrated into the programme. LISAA Paris provides preparation for the International English Learning Testing System by giving access to English courses on its e-learning platform.
This programme includes both teaching of the fundamentals and case studies, group projects, which are :
taught, designed and developed by a teaching team made up of recognised professionals from the fashion and luxury sectors and the business sectors targeted for each learning module,
updated and validated by a dedicated teaching team.
In the heart of two fashion capitals, LISAA Paris and NABA Milan make their professional facilities available: pattern-making rooms, knitwear workshop, accessories workshop, FabLab (laser cutting, plotter), screen printing workshop, photo and video studio, etc.
These professional infrastructures allow the design and production of complete collections of clothing and accessories (jewellery, sneakers, leather goods).
Après un bac scientifique, Anne Balas-Klein s’oriente vers la pharmacie. S’apercevant que cette discipline siège aux antipodes de sa passion pour la mode, elle se tourne naturellement vers des études de styliste-modéliste. Son diplôme en poche, elle saisit l’opportunité de travailler chez les créateurs en vogue de l’époque, Sonia Rykiel et Dorothée Bis. Après quelques années dans ces maisons exigeantes, Anne profite d’une opportunité pour se lancer dans l’enseignement du style. Elle souhaite donner une nouvelle impulsion à sa carrière. Son coup d’essai est un coup de maître. Ses élèves sont conquis et signent même une pétition pour qu’elle conserve son poste à Paris.
En 1988, Anne rencontre Michel Glize qui vient de fonder LISAA. L’année suivante, tout en y dispensant les cours de stylisme, elle devient responsable pédagogique de la jeune école. En 2010, après plus de 20 ans d’expérience, Anne Balas-Klein fonde e Mode & Management, un établissement privé d’enseignement à distance qui propose un modèle de formation unique en Europe, tourné vers le management des secteurs mode & luxe. Fort de ce succès, Anne dirige depuis la rentrée 2014, la section Management et Fashion Business à LISAA Mode Paris.

Entry Requirements & Application
The course is open to students who have completed three years of higher education in fashion design. Admissions are by individual interview and presentation of an artistic file.
LISAA Fashion Paris welcomes you on March 24th at 6pm to an information evening about the fashion courses: fashion business, management, communication, digital marketing, environmentally responsible fashion. A great opportunity to meet and chat with LISAA teachers.
