LISAA Paris Interior Architecture & Design
The Interior Architecture and Design department settled in the Gobelins neighborhood in the 13th arrondissement of Paris! A former 2700m² manufacture, the school provides students with 12 classrooms designed for teaching applied arts, a workshop for models and prototypes fabrication, 4 Mac & PC labs, a fablab equipped with the latest tools including 3-D printers, a laser cutting machine and large-format printer, an exhibition room, an amphitheater and a cafeteria.

The students of LISAA Architecture d'intérieur et design Paris have once again worked in partnership with the Centre Européen d'Excellence en Biomimétisme et Innovation (CEEBIOS). This new collaboration enabled the students to study and understand the principles of biomimicry with a view to solving concrete problems. The students were able to present their creative projects, inspired by living things, to a panel of professionals.

During a special evening on Thursday, December 15, 2022, the students of the first English-speaking class of the Interior Architect and Designer program received their diplomas. A special moment that marks the advent of five years of intensive training spent alongside the professors and the teaching team. A look back at this beautiful event.

How does one design with a bio-inspired approach? How does one innovate while taking environmental challenges into consideration? For several years now, LISAA Interior Architecture & Design has ensured its students are aware of these major issues. And this happens, in part, through the collaboration with the CEEBIOS – the European Centre of Excellence in Biomimicry at Senlis. And once again this year, student projects carried out as part of this partnership will be exhibited at the Biomim'expo.

Until 18th December, five designers from LISAA Interior Architecture & Design Paris will be exhibiting their projects around the theme of "Wood, Light, Sound" at the Le French Design by VIA gallery. These creations are made as part of the New Living Wood competition, in which LISAA has participated for several years.
