This course prepares students to become experts in special effects design: cinematographic shows, computer animated characters and digital sets are some examples of the use of special effects.

STATE-REGISTERED QUALIFICATION*

The Special Effects course takes place over three years or two years following a foundation year in art and design. The Graduates are awarded a *qualification in Animation and Digital Special Effects - IDAA-LISAA, NSF 323m - level 6, listed on the French Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP), decree published 27/12/2018 in the official journal of 04/01/2019. Students can join in at the beginning of every year (1st, 2nd or 3rd year).

The first year is taught either in French or in English.

Entry Requirements & Application

Admission is subject to both the presentation of a file and an oral interview. The interview allows a discussion about the candidate's background and ambitions. The objective is to to gauge his motivation and the potential of his or her academic profile to suit the specificities of a profession in animation. Students can join in at the beginning of every year (1st, 2nd or 3rd year).
