Introduction to the Master of Arts (MA) - Fashion Communication & Branding
In today’s fashion and luxury industries, a brand’s value lies in the stories it crafts, the images it conveys, and the communities it unites. The Master of Arts in Fashion Communication & Branding trains professionals capable of defining a strong artistic direction, designing a 360° communication strategy with innovative tools, and managing creative teams.
At LISAA, you will develop your cultural knowledge of fashion, luxury, and art history, refine your trend-spotting abilities, and collaborate with young designers, just like in a fashion studio.
With development and quality assurance overseen by Regents' University, this Master of Arts provides you with an internationally recognised qualification and a French RNCP title, opening doors to strategic careers in fashion communication and branding.
The course is delivered by LISAA and validated by Regent’s University London, and your qualification will be awarded by Regent's University London.
The program is available in both French and English, with two separate identical courses.

A Master of Arts (MA) is a postgraduate degree recognised internationally, offering advanced academic and professional training in fields such as design, the arts, humanities, communication, and creative management.
Equivalent to a European Bac+5 level, the MA combines in‑depth theoretical learning with practical application, preparing graduates to meet the challenges of today’s global industries.

Initial training (full-time program)
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Hold a Level 6 qualification, a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification (including international degrees), or
Hold a secondary school diploma and have completed 180 ECTS credits;
Applicants must also have:
Completed a relevant academic pathway preparing for the targeted certification, delivered by the awarding body or an officially approved partner institution.
Apprenticeship or professional training contract (work-study program)
3-year program
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Hold a Level 5 qualification, a two-year higher education diploma, or an equivalent qualification (including international degrees), or
Hold a secondary school diploma and have completed 120 ECTS credits;
Applicants must also have:
Completed a 36-month work-study program (apprenticeship or professional training contract) preparing for the targeted certification with the awarding body or an approved partner institution.
2-year program
Applicants must:
Hold a Level 6 qualification, a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification (including international degrees), or
Have completed 180 ECTS credits;
And have:
Completed a 24-month work-study program (apprenticeship or professional training contract) preparing for the targeted certification with the awarding body or an approved partner institution.
1-year program
Applicants must:
Hold a Level 6 qualification, a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification (including international degrees), or
Have completed 240 ECTS credits;
And have:
Completed a 12-month work-study program (apprenticeship or professional training contract) preparing for the targeted certification with the awarding body or an approved partner institution.
Exceptional admissions
Applicants who do not fully meet the academic or professional requirements may be considered through an exceptional admissions process, subject to review of a supporting application file, which may include:
Recognition of prior learning (RPL / VAP),
Employer references,
Or documented professional, personal, or voluntary experience demonstrating relevant competencies.
Admission is based on a review of the application file, an interview, and the academic coordinator’s assessment, in order to evaluate the applicant’s suitability for the program and the targeted career paths.

The application file must include the following documents:
Copies of academic diplomas and qualifications obtained,
Proof of ECTS credits completed,

Admissions timeline
Applications are open from October to August for a September intake.
Applications are reviewed within a maximum of three weeks after receipt of a complete file.
Enrollment remains possible up to the start of the academic year, subject to availability.
Late admissions
Exceptionally, applications may be accepted after the program has started, subject to:
An academic review,
Verification of the applicant’s ability to catch up on previously delivered coursework.
Late enrollment may be granted up to two months after the start of the program.
Interview assessment
The interview focuses on:
The alignment between the applicant’s professional project and the program content,
The applicant’s interest in the fashion and luxury sectors,
The applicant’s organizational skills and ability to follow a predominantly online learning format.
Applicants are informed of the admission decision within one week following the interview.

This program is designed to develop the skills required to design, lead, and assess marketing and communication strategies in the luxury sector, while ensuring the operational management of teams and projects.
Graduates will be able to:
Conduct strategic market intelligence (market trends, innovation, regulations) to inform marketing decision-making.
Perform marketing diagnostics and define brand positioning to manage the value chain.
Develop and implement luxury marketing strategies, integrating customer journey analysis and cultural specificities.
Design and oversee multichannel marketing and communication action plans.
Deploy high-impact communication campaigns and measure their performance.
Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with commercial partners and service providers.
Define distribution and merchandising strategies adapted to target markets.
Enhance the customer experience, both in-store and online, through actionable recommendations.
Assess team competencies and support professional development and upskilling.
Manage recruitment, performance management, and operational delegation.
This Master’s program is primarily built around the following learning formats:

Students are taught innovative strategies in Communication, Marketing, and Management, providing the theoretical foundations required to address real-world business challenges introduced by partner companies during practical workshops.
Pitch Desk workshops
Minimum of one intensive week per term
Pitch Desks are project-based workshops, complemented by courses, seminars, conferences, online tutorials, and professional experience in the workplace.
Project development during these workshops is based on a design-led methodology.
Guided by industry professionals, students collaborate with leading companies on projects such as:
Designing an original advertising campaign,
Developing a global communication strategy.
The hands-on experience gained during Pitch Desk workshops is enhanced by expert-led conferences, delivered by designers, researchers, and industry professionals.
Most workshops conclude with a public presentation of the projects.
Culture & Innovation conferences
A dedicated series of conferences designed to broaden students’ cultural awareness and understanding of innovation in the creative industries.Professional experience
Work-study placement (apprenticeship or professional training contract) over two years,
orAlternating internship periods alongside academic coursework.
Assessments are conducted in line with the course schedule and the certifying assessment methods defined in the official framework.
Assessment formats include:
A professional project and/or consulting project,
Professional simulations,
Practical case studies, including a reflective analysis of professional practice.
These assessments may be completed individually or in groups, on campus or online.
Successful completion of all required assessments is mandatory to obtain the qualification.
Continuous assessment & certification process
Student performance is assessed throughout the academic year, with continuous assessment playing a central role in evaluating each learner’s progress.
Assessments are designed to closely reflect professional standards and industry expectations and are integrated throughout the Master’s program.
Individual assessments are conducted on an ongoing basis and take the form of written assignments, depending on the subject area or competency being assessed.
Any unjustified absence from an assessment will result in a “Not Acquired” grade.
Competency-based validation
The program is structured around competency blocks:
A competency block is validated only if all associated assessments are successfully completed.
Competency blocks are capitalizable, meaning they remain valid once acquired.
The RNCP certification is awarded only upon validation of all competency blocks.
If the RNCP qualification is not awarded, any validated competency blocks remain permanently acquired.
Eligibility for the certification jury
Admission to the certification jury for the RNCP title “Luxury Marketing Manager” is granted to enrolled candidates who have validated all competency blocks.
Certification jury decision
The certification jury determines the list of successful and unsuccessful candidates based on the official jury reports.
The jury may also consider assessment records and academic evidence gathered throughout the candidate’s training pathway within the awarding body or its approved partner institutions.
If you have already obtained an RNCP qualification of a similar level and specialization from another institution and are interested in this certification, you may apply for a full or partial equivalency.

Admission to the second year is possible for applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a comparable Master’s program at another institution, subject to approval by the academic coordinator.
Upon completion of the Master’s program, graduates may choose to enter the professional world directly or to further develop their expertise through additional training programs.
