Fractal Box, a studio created by LISAA alumni, launches its first video game!
Fractal Box, a video game studio founded by LISAA Paris alumni, is launching its first video game: Cubikolor. Already award-winning, this fascinating and original video game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
A YOUNG FRENCH STUDIO
Founded in 2013 by several graduates from the video game department at LISAA Paris, Fractal Box has been working on the development of the Cubikolorvideo game for two years. Fun and original, the game received an award for originality at the European Indie Game Days in 2015.
Plug In Digital and the video game publisher Moving Player supported the young entrepreneurs in the development and production of their project—a sign of trust and recognition from the professional world.
AN ORIGINAL VIDEO GAME
Cubikolor is a puzzle game that consists of moving a cube with different coloured faces. The cube must reach a locked square on a kind of 3-D checkerboard. The squares go up when two colours match, and go down when two colours mismatch—a mechanism which is both simple and original and which can be adapted in a variety of ways (mirrored, double or trap squares, for example).
