This course trains students to be specialists in video game design. Over three years, they will tackle all aspects of interactive creation with a focus on Tech Art, to train students in artistic direction and the creation of 3-D environments. Graduates can apply for roles as 3-D Environment Artists, FX Artists, 2-D Concept Environment Artists or Tech Artists.
TRAIN IN A WELL-EQUIPPED SCHOOL

LISAA provides students with a professional setting, infrastructure and facilities including a film studio and calibration station, a motion capture area and a sound studio, as well as a large number of computers equipped with the software used in studios (Houdini, Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Adobe suite, etc.).
SPECIALISE IN TECH ART FROM THE FIRST YEAR
Students choose a specialisation from the first year of the Bachelor's degree. The Tech Art specialisation focuses on creative direction and the design of 3-D environments. The objective is to master all elements required to design a 3-D environment, from the original idea to 3-D modelling, right up to integration onto the market's game engines (Unity 3D or Unreal Engine 4). The student is the creative director of the game. Graduates will be able to apply for roles as 3-D Environment Artists (creation of 3-D scenery, texturing and integration), FX Artists (creation and mastery of visual effects in a game), 2-D Concept Artists (creation of 2-D environments) or Tech Artists (mastering of the entire production pipeline).
NATIONALLY-ACCREDITED LEVEL 6 QUALIFICATION*
The video game course takes place over three years, or two years after a foundation year in applied arts. It leads to the qualification* of Video Game Designer – IDAA-LISAA, NSF 323n – level 6, registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications by order of 27 December 2018, published in the Official Journal of 4 January 2019. Students can join the course from the first year or during the course in the second or third years.
The bachelor's degree can be extended with the Video Game master's degree or by the Scriptwriter master's degree for animation and video games. In two years, these courses perfectly complement the video game design training by furthering and diversifying your technical and managerial skills. It serves as a real springboard to enter the job market armed with solid professional skills.
