FULL-TIME OR CONTINUING EDUCATION

This distance learning method allows students to follow this course from all over the world, to join key companies in the fashion and luxury sectors by combining training and professional activity. This course takes place over two years and is aimed at students in full-time education who have already completed a bachelor’s-level qualification, as well as active professionals. The latter category may be creatives wishing to discover the operational professions in luxury and fashion groups, but also marketers in all industries wishing to improve their skills with innovative approaches.

ACQUIRING HIGH-LEVEL SKILLS IN MARKETING & MANAGEMENT

The fashion and luxury sectors are today at the forefront of mastering and developing new marketing techniques and strategic management of brands.

LISAA, one of the very first fashion schools in Paris, with a strong international dimension, offers a distance-learning course specialising in these techniques via two major centres of expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of the fashion and luxury industries, from technical knowledge of clothing to trend analysis, via the history of fashion.
  • Brand management techniques through an applied approach, from financial analysis and business strategy to the most up-to-date branding approaches and brand communications.

The course prepares students to become specialists in fashion and luxury management: they will discover all aspects of the international fashion industry, the creation of a collection and the organisation of a company, but also brand management, merchandising, marketing and communication.

At the end of the course, graduates are able to apply the skills they have acquired in order to monitor and establish a marketing diagnosis, define the marketing strategy and draw up the marketing plan, conduct the brand management and communication strategy, conduct and manage operational projects, conduct the distribution and merchandising strategy, manage the teams and the department and, finally, master the specificities of the fashion and luxury sector.

STUDYING WHILST WORKING THROUGH E-LEARNING

LISAA's Fashion and Luxury Management course is a distance learning course on a dedicated e-learning platform. It allows students to study management and marketing while gaining experience in a company.

The course allows students to follow one or several certified internships over two years, to undertake a sandwich course work placement and also to be employed full-time in a long or short-term contract (by way of classes to be attended in person at LISAA School of Fashion Paris). An exceptional opportunity that allows students to widen their professional knowledge and skill set.

Students come to meet the teaching staff each year for four weeks of seminars led by experts in fashion and luxury marketing and management, at LISAA Fashion Paris. The course starts from October or January onwards.

LISAA benefits from a network of more than 1500 partner companies.
96.3% of students on sandwich-course programmes are on apprenticeship contracts and 3.7% on professional training contracts.

BECOMING AN EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL

Thanks to a teaching staff made up of recognised professionals in the fashion industry, and numerous partnerships with prestigious companies, this course is widely renowned.

Throughout the two years of training, students benefit from :

  • online courses written by professors or professional speakers who are experts in their field
  • face-to-face courses offered in the form of multi-year seminars led by professional speakers who are experts in their field
  • individual or group work on real cases proposed by a partner company or representative cases
  • individual coaching to assess the skills and professional resources acquired
  • e-learning support
  • internships or work experience to develop skills in the field

Each student also benefits from individual monitoring for the creation of their professional project and for finding a work placement. A database of more than 1000 job and internship offers per year allows students to find internships or jobs that live up to their expectations. A large number of them find work in the major luxury fashion houses, department stores or in specialist agencies.

STATE-REGISTERED QUALIFICATION*

Graduates are awarded a *qualification of Luxury Marketing Manager - IDAA-LISAA, NSF 312 - level 7, listed on the French Register of Professional Certifications (RNCP), by decision of France compétences on November 10th 2021. The certifying nature of the training and its relevance to the needs of the job market are recognized by the State and the European framework of certifications.

Assessments are carried out according to several criteria adapted to the type of course, mainly in the form of case studies. These assignments are to be carried out individually, and remotely. Their validation is necessary to obtain the qualification. The diploma is also sanctioned by an end-of-studies dissertation that verifies the student's mastery of the specificities of the Fashion and Luxury sector.

If the student does not obtain the RNCP qualification, it should be noted that if he or she has validated all the skills relating to a block, this block of skills is acquired.

Intended audience:

The course is open to students from a variety of backgrounds (business school, marketing school, communication school, law school, modern languages, economics, sociology or philosophy, etc.). It is also accessible to professionals wishing to specialise in luxury and coming from professions that are close to luxury. It is also suitable for those who have a business creation project in this field.

Admission requirements:

  • Initial training: for entry into the 1st year (M1): hold a level 6 qualification or diploma registered with the RNCP (equivalent to Bac+3) or have completed and validated a 3rd year of higher education (180 ECTS) in management sciences, for example: licence or bachelor's degree in commerce/management/management, licence in marketing and sales, licence in economics or AES... For entry into the 2nd year of the Master's programme (M2): to have completed and validated a 4th year of higher education (240 ECTS) in management sciences, marketing or business: business school, whether or not specialised in luxury goods; Master 1 in management, economics or AES; Master 1 in marketing, business or communication.
  • In professional training: If you wish to specialise in luxury, whatever your sector of activity or if you are already involved in luxury (architects, designers, stylists), you must, in order to join the course: hold a level 6 title or diploma registered with the RNCP and provide proof of 5 years' professional experience in marketing, commerce or management or hold a Baccalaureate and provide proof of 7 years' professional experience in this field.

All courses allow students to be paid through an internship or a job throughout their course.

In the case of sandwich courses, the cost of training under a professionalization contract or an apprenticeship contract will be covered by an organization to which the company contributes (OPCO).
