Mini Maousse competition projects exhibition at the Cité de l'architecture
Three projects by LISAA Paris students were awarded prizes at the 2016 Mini Maousse competition. Today, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine, co-organizer of the competition with the VIA, exhibits the laureates' projects from May 17th to July 16th. Feel free to go and discover them!
THREE AWARD-WINNING PROJECTS FROM LISAA
Three of the eight projects selected by the judges at the Mini Maousse 2016 competition were created by students from the Interior Architecture and Design department at LISAA Paris:
- Kyubu - Ludovic Geraerts et Virginie Vasquez
- Light Colombage - Mégane Hentzen
- Wood Up - Lauren Germain and Aurore Pulwermacher
These results make LISAA the most awarded interior architecture school in the competition.
PRODUCTION OF MOCK-UPS AND PROTOTYPES
the winning students were awarded with the opportunity to participate in a two-week workshop in Nantes in July 2016. In collaboration with students from the l'Ecole supérieure du bois (French engineering school in wood science and technology), who initiated them to machines and techniques of wood work, LISAA designers made a mock-up or prototype to 1/5th scale.
The results of this workshop, mock-ups and prototypes, will be displayed at the prestigious Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris.
