A Course on the New Developments of the Video Games Industry
New technologies and tools have led to the development of the video games industry. New needs have been created for professionals in the industry and LISAA adapts its teaching in response to this. Discover all the new components of the course, explained by Joan Da Silva, director of LISAA Animation & Video Games.
A course specialising in Game Tech
Our aim is to train very specialised designers
Joan Da Silva, director of LISAA Animation & Video Games Paris
The rendering of video games has massively evolved over recent years thanks to new technologies and tools that are increasingly high-performance. "Our aim is to train very specialised designers who are competitive in this thriving industry."
This fourth year of the Game Tech course will allow students to further their skills in the following fields: 3-D animation, concept art, 3-D modelling, rigging, lighting, shading, VFX, level design, scripting, game design…
A Video Game Production MBA with ESG
LISAA has joined forces with the ESG MBA to offer a Video Game Production course. The "producer" supervises the production of a video game and, as such, has a profile that is technical, managerial, business-orientated and visionary at the same time.
With the arrival of mobile games and digitally distributed games, new business models are appearing. This MBA will therefore also lead to careers in monetization design and game data science.
Joan Da Silva
"We want to teach a particular aspect of this profession. With the arrival of mobile games and digitally distributed games, new business models are appearing, such as monetization via advertising, freemium, etc. These games are therefore linked to the big date era: the profiles and behaviours of players are analysed in order to optimize their experience and find the best business model. This MBA will therefore also lead to careers in monetization design and game data science."
A Game option available from the first year
Finally, students will have the option of choosing a "video game" first year, which will remain introductory but will offer an intensive learning of digital tools. In particular, students will begin with script lessons from their very first year. Game enthusiasts will find the course that meets all their expectations!
